The position will be fully funded by Yale University in accordance with NIH guidelines. The candidate should have expertise or have strong ability to learn cryo-EM/cryo-ET and should be highly motivated for career development in structural biology. Experience in molecular biology and protein/nucleic acid biochemistry would be a plus.

We are part of the Center for Structural Biology at Yale, which has a long tradition of research excellence and a stimulating environment that includes world-renowned established groups as well as young investigators. Yale has state-of-the-art equipment for X-ray crystallography and cryo-EM. Our EM facilities house a Titan Krios (with phase plate, energy filter, K3 and Falcon III detectors), two Glacios (with phase plate and K2), and two Talos L120C scopes, as well as Aquilos and Aquilos2 cryo-FIB systems. In addition, a major new cryo-EM facility with multiple additional microscopes is being established.
