The Xiong Lab is currently accepting applications for postdoctoral fellows!
The position will be fully funded by Yale University in accordance with NIH guidelines. The candidate should have a strong background in structural biology. Experience in cryo-electron microscopy is especially desired and the candidate should be highly motivated for career development using structural biology methods. Experience in molecular biology and protein/nucleic acid biochemistry would be a plus!
We are part of the Center for Structural Biology at Yale, which has a long tradition of research excellence and a stimulating environment that includes world-renowned groups as well as young investigators. Yale has state-of-the-art equipment for X-ray crystallography and cryo-EM. Our EM facilities house a Titan Krios (with phase plate, energy filter, K2 and Falcon III detectors), F20 (with K2), and Talos L120C and T12 scopes. In additions, a major new cryo-EM facility with multiple Krios microscopes is being established.
